In June 2005, Naomi Johnson quit her full time job, packed up her two bedroom flat and moved into a bedroom the size of her hallway, 100 miles away at her Aunt and Uncle’s house. She left behind her friends and a town she had come to love.

She had a dream to run her own Personal Development Business.

As fate would have it, things didn’t quite go to plan the way she imagined. Instead of making her millions, she moved house 10 times in 18 months and found herself in critical debt. In 2008 she was sleeping on the sofa renting out her bedroom because she couldn’t afford the rent. At one point things were so bad she ate baked beans for a week, using a knife to open the tin because she couldn’t afford a tin opener.

Today, Naomi is a sought after Business Development Consultant working with Sole Entrepreneurs helping them manage the daily grind. Naomi also offers coaching to coaches who are at the grass roots stage of their business and need support. At the beginning of 2011 she was appointed the Director of MarketingHelpForCoaches.com a website that provides resources and support to coaches, consultants, speaker and service based businesses.

Hannah says ‘At the beginning of 2010 I started looking for someone who I could hand the baton to who shared the same values and genuine desire to help coaches do what they do best – coach people. Naomi started working with me in March 2010 and proved herself to be someone I c0uld trust to continue this work”.

Her favourite days are those she spends with her two nieces and she claims that for her, the two best moment of 2010 were when her 1 year old niece reached out and hugged her for the first time, and her 3 year old niece told her she loved her Auntie Omi, no that’s ‘really really‘ loved her.

Naomi graduated from Swansea University in 2002 having completed a BSc Business Studies degree. She worked for three years at the Student Union managing the student activity groups and organising large scale events. During this time she studied for the Chartered Institute of Personal Development masters course. In 2005 Naomi left her job to become a full time coach.
